Getting to the Conference Venue

Transportation Guide

Below is a detailed transportation guide from Taoyuan International Airport to Chientan Youth Activity Center(Address: No. 16, Section 4, Zhongshan North Road, Shilin District, Taipei City), to help you reach the conference venue. Two transportation options are provided: MRT and Taxi.

Option 1: MRT (Metro)

  1. Arrival at Taoyuan International Airport → Airport MRT Station.
  2. After arriving at Taoyuan International Airport, follow the airport signs for MRT / Metro.
  3. The Taoyuan Airport MRT stations are located underground beneath the terminals:
    • Terminal 1 → A12 Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 Station
    • Terminal 2 → A13 Taoyuan Airport Terminal 2 Station

    ※The walking distance from the arrival hall to the MRT station is approximately 5–10 minutes, depending on the terminal and baggage.

  4. Taoyuan Airport MRT → Taipei Main Station，Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT Line (Taoyuan Airport MRT) to Taipei Main Station. You may choose between two types of trains:
    • Express Train
      • Fewer stops and faster
      • Approximately 35–40 minutes
      • Direct to Taipei Main Station (A1)
    • Commuter Train
      • Stops at all stations
      • Approximately 50–60 minutes
      • To Taipei Main Station (A1)
  5. Taipei Main Station → Jiantan MRT Station (Chientan Youth Activity Center)
    1. At Taipei Main Station, transfer to the Tamsui–Xinyi Line (Red Line)，Get off at Jiantan Station (R15).
    2. After exiting the station, follow the signs and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Chientan Youth Activity Center.

Option 2: Taxi / Direct Transfer

Taxi from Taoyuan International Airport：Taxis are available at the designated taxi stands outside the airport arrival hall.The driver will take you directly to Chientan Youth Activity Center.
  • Estimated travel time: Approximately 60 minutes, depending on traffic
  • Estimated fare: Approximately NT$1,100–1,600 (including highway tolls)
The main advantage is door-to-door service, with no transfers required—very convenient if you have luggage.
This option is recommended for late-night arrivals or travelers sharing the cost in a group.
